BENCH, AMTRAK STATION, GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLORADO, JANUARY 13, 2009

Old railroad depots are great places for photography, notably the former Denver & Rio Grande Western (now Amtrak) station in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The interplay of light and shadow on the oak bench caught my eye as I was waiting to catch the California Zephyr for home.

I love that old station.

Keep taking "der vaters," Henry, and I bet we'll meet someday.

Great set of shots from Glenwood Springs! Liked this one the best. I have one of the Sacramento Amtrak Station that still has "Southern Pacific" carved on the ends of the benches. Keep up the good work!
