What could be more ordinary -- or prettier -- than the sight of a clutch of daisies waving in the breeze at the side of a highway? I just had to stop and get a closeup shot of one, using a high shutter speed to capture the nodding blossom. Next time you're riding with a small child, casually whisper the intelligence that Roman centurions soaked bandages in the juice of crushed daisies to bind battle wounds.

All beautiful! For my parents' 60th wedding anniversary party, I used white and yellow daisies and pink carnations, all inexpensive but so pretty!
